Mission Karmayogi - Puducherry , RRU Puducherry Campus - DAY 9

On the ninth day of the Karmayogi Mission, the focus was on road safety and internet governance. The discussion covered best practices, regulations, and strategies for improving road safety, as well as how to enhance online safety through effective governance.

Mr. Amit Khatri, Road safety trainer and adjunct faculty, Rashtriya Raksha University, Gujarat, discussed about Traffic and Road Safety Management in which he talked about strategies for reducing traffic accidents and enhancing road safety. He highlighted the importance of rigorous safety protocols, technology in accident prevention, and improving road engineering. Khatri also discussed awareness campaigns and educational initiatives for promoting road safety. He emphasized the need for comprehensive programs targeting various societal segments.

Mr. Harish Chowdhary, IT System manager, Rashtriya Raksha University, Gujarat, discussed Internet Governance in his presentation. He highlighted the importance of governance frameworks in managing internet resources, ensuring stability and security, and protecting user privacy. He also highlighted the collaboration between law enforcement and other organizations, such as the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI), to enhance internet security efforts. Mr. Harish also discussed recent developments in internet governance, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill which aims to strengthen data protection and privacy, ensuring transparency and accountability in personal information handling.
