Innovation Fest 2026 at RRU Puducherry Campus

Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus organized "Innovation Fest 2026" on 30 September 2026 to provide a platform for students, innovators, start-ups and industry participants to showcase innovative ideas and solutions. The fest featured themes including National Security and Defence, Drone and Anti-Drone Technology, AI Cyber Security, Robotics, Smart Education, Renewable Energy and Aerospace Technology. A significant number of college students participated and presented their innovative ideas and solutions aligned with the identified themes. The event was convened by Mr. Arsh G., Campus Director, and coordinated by Dr. S. Abarna, Associate Professor, and Mr. Chandramouleswer K., Junior Research cum Admin Assistant.

The ideas were evaluated by an expert jury panel comprising Retd. Air Commodore Rajnish Varma, Head, Aerospace Studies,RRU  and Mr. Gaurav Shah, Manager AIC RRU, and, who assessed the presentations based on their relevance, innovation and potential impact. The event encouraged creativity, problem-solving and entrepreneurial thinking among students while providing exposure to expert evaluation and mentorship. It also strengthened RRU’s efforts towards promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, industry–academia engagement and technology-driven solutions in emerging and national security domains.

The Fest provided a dynamic platform for students, start-ups, innovators and industry participants to showcase their innovative ideas and solutions. It aimed to foster innovation and solution-oriented thinking in the areas of national security, emerging technologies and societal development. The event also facilitated opportunities for networking, expert mentoring and incubation support, encouraging participants to transform innovative ideas into impactful solutions.

The programme witnessed the participation of 53 students and two industry experts, along with faculty members and other representatives of RRU Puducherry Campus. The event encouraged creativity, problem-solving and entrepreneurial thinking among students while providing them with valuable exposure to expert evaluation and mentorship. It also strengthened RRU’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, industry–academia engagement and technology-driven solutions in emerging technology and national security domains.
