Road safety Program in collaboration with Puducherry police

                    The RRU Puducherry campus recently played a key role in supporting the mission to achieve zero fatalities in traffic accidents. As part of this initiative, the students of the Puducherry campus actively participated in roadside awareness events across the city. These events aimed to educate the public on the importance of road safety, focusing on the significance of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers. Traffic safety officials, including the Puducherry Traffic SSP and other department representatives, were also present at these events to lend their support. The students engaged with the public, sharing vital information and encouraging responsible behavior on the roads. Their efforts were instrumental in spreading awareness and promoting a safety culture, contributing to the region's broader mission of reducing traffic-related fatalities.
