Two days International Expert Lecture on by SOC Analyst Training by Gean Remoan

                 The PGD Cyber Security and Digital Forensics faculty at RRU Puducherry Campus organized a two-day international lecture on "SOC Analyst Training: SIEM Concepts & Splunk Tool with Practical Demonstration."

The session was led by Ms. Gean Remona, SOC Analyst, M2I Formation, Paris, France, and covered both theoretical and practical aspects of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Splunk.

Day 1: Theoretical Insights

• Fundamentals of SIEM and its role in cyber threat detection & response
• Understanding log correlation & event analysis
• Real-world applications of SIEM in cybersecurity operations

Day 2: Hands-on Training & Splunk Demonstration

• Live demonstration of Splunk’s capabilities in log monitoring and threat detection
• Hands-on experience in configuring, filtering, and analyzing security logs
• Use case simulations for incident detection & response

This session provided participants with in-depth knowledge and practical exposure to SIEM operations and SOC analysis, enhancing their expertise in cyber threat detection and response mechanisms.
