The Learning Resource Centre of Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Puducherry Campus, organized a special lecture session as part of the World Book and Copyright Day celebrations. The event highlighted the importance of books, reading, and intellectual property rights.
Dr. Upendra Pandya, Deputy Librarian of RRU, Gujarat, joined the session virtually and shared his insights on the evolving role of libraries in the digital age. The university had the honour of hosting Dr. Vijaya Kumar Mallappa, Librarian at Pondicherry University, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Mallappa addressed the gathering and emphasized the critical role of libraries in academic development and fostering a reading culture among students.
The event witnessed active participation from faculty members, students, and staff, making it a meaningful occasion to reaffirm the value of books and copyright awareness in academia.
