The Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, proudly hosted the State Level Youth Festival – 2026 on December 7, 2025, organized by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Puducherry, in collaboration with the Puducherry NSS Cell and Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat). Under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue initiative, the event brought together energetic youth aged 15–29 years from Pondicherry, Karaikal, Mahe, and Yanam, celebrating culture, creativity, and leadership.
The State Level Youth Festival – 2026 at RRU Puducherry emerged as a vibrant celebration of unity, diversity, and youth empowerment. With 140 participants from all four regions, the festival served as a powerful platform for cultural expression, leadership development, and national integration.
The major attraction of the festival was the Folk Dance and Folk Song competitions, where each region showcased its unique cultural identity.
- Karaikal Team: Presented a vibrant fusion of devotional and folk traditions.
- Mahe Participants: Performed colourful Telugu-style routines with lively choreography.
- Yanam Participants: Showcased Kerala-style folk dance with rhythmic cultural expressions.
- Pondicherry Teams: Delivered classical-folk integrated performances reflecting rich Tamil heritage.
