Expert Lecture on Cyber Security & Cyber Warfare at National Security Conclave 2026

Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, actively participated in the National Security Conclave 2026, held on 30–31 July 2026 at Government Arts College, Coimbatore. The conclave was organized by VYUGAM & UDAAN in association with Government Arts College, Coimbatore, as part of an initiative to promote national security awareness and academic outreach.

Representing RRU Puducherry Campus, Mr. Aswanth Murugan, Teaching-cum-Research Officer- Corporate Security, has been invited as an Expert Speaker and delivered an expert lecture on "Cyber Security & Cyber Warfare," highlighting emerging cyber threats, cyber warfare strategies, the protection of critical infrastructure, and the growing role of emerging technologies in strengthening national security.

As part of the South India Security Education Awareness Initiative, Mr. Aswanth Murugan also met Dr. Kanagaraj, Vice Principal, Government Arts College, Coimbatore, and discussed the academic ecosystem of Rashtriya Raksha University. The interaction focused on creating awareness about RRU's programmes in national security, police studies, forensic sciences, corporate security, criminology, and other interdisciplinary courses. The discussion highlighted opportunities for future academic collaboration, student outreach, expert lectures, and strengthening security education among higher educational institutions in South India.

The event aimed to enhance awareness among students and defence aspirants on contemporary national security challenges through expert deliberations on maritime security, cyber warfare, border management, internal security, terrorism, and Artificial Intelligence in modern warfare. The conclave aimed to promote academic collaboration, strategic thinking, and leadership among future security professionals. The conclave brought together students, NCC cadets, defence aspirants, research scholars, and academicians from various institutions to deliberate on contemporary security challenges.

The conclave served as an effective platform for knowledge dissemination, institutional networking, and promoting Rashtriya Raksha University's vision of developing skilled professionals in the field of national security.  Participation in this national-level event significantly enhanced the visibility and academic outreach of RRU Puducherry Campus.
