RAKSHARAMBH-2026: Orientation-cum-Induction Programme (Day 1)

RRU Puducherry Campus conducted RAKSHARAMBH-2026, the Orientation-cum-Induction Programme for the Academic Batch 2026–2027, from 10 to 18 September 2026. The programme marked the beginning of the academic journey of the newly admitted students at RRU Puducherry and provided them with an opportunity to become familiar with the university’s academic environment and institutional activities. As part of the programme, the inauguration of RAKSHARAMBH-2026 was held on 11 September 2026 at the auditorium. The inaugural programme brought together the new academic batch and members of the university community for the commencement of the orientation and induction activities.

                           

The inauguration was graced by D. Divya, IPS, SSP (Traffic), Puducherry Police, and Ragav S, IPS, SSP (Cyber Cell), Puducherry Police, as the Chief Guests. Their presence added significance to the inaugural session and provided students with an opportunity to gain insights from senior police officials working in traffic management and cybersecurity. During their interaction with the students, the Chief Guests shared valuable experiences from their professional journeys, spoke about effective study methods and approaches to learning, and encouraged students to remain focused and committed towards their academic and career goals. Their inspiring words motivated the students to set clear goals, work with determination, and make meaningful use of the opportunities available to them.

                       

The RAKSHARAMBH-2026 programme was held to provide the Academic Batch 2026–2027 with an introductory platform to begin their association with RRU Puducherry. The programme served as an important transition for the newly admitted students as they embarked on their scholarly path at the University. The programme reflected RRU Puducherry’s commitment to providing students with a meaningful and engaging beginning to their academic experience. The presence of distinguished police officials during the inauguration also highlighted the relevance of national security, policing, and professional development in the students’ learning journey.
