The NSS Unit of Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Puducherry Campus, was honoured by the Department of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Puducherry, on 30 October 2026 at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (IGMC&RI), in recognition of its dedicated voluntary blood donation service over the past year. This recognition celebrates the selfless contributions of our NSS volunteers in saving lives and serving society, and their continued commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives and saving lives through voluntary blood donation. Their efforts reflect the values of social responsibility, compassion, and humanitarian service.
The honour highlights the University’s commitment to community welfare and encourages students to actively participate in initiatives that make a meaningful difference in society.
