On September 12, 2024, RRU Puducherry Campus had the pleasure of hosting a group of enthusiastic students from the Department of Criminology at Kamaraj College, Tuticorin. The visit was an exciting opportunity for the students to gain insights into the academic and professional opportunities that RRU Puducherry offers, particularly in criminology, forensic sciences, and national security. As part of their visit, a comprehensive orientation program was organized by the campus, which included detailed sessions on RRU’s unique curriculum, its focus on applied learning, and the campus’s key role in shaping the next generation of law enforcement and security professionals. The faculty members from various departments warmly welcomed the visiting students and shared their experiences, highlighting the diverse learning pathways available at the institution. The orientation program not only served as an introduction to the academic environment of RRU Puducherry but also provided students from Kamaraj College with the chance to interact with our faculty and students, fostering a productive exchange of ideas. The students showed keen interest in the tailor-made courses offered, such as criminology, police administration, cyber security, and forensic psychology, which align perfectly with their career aspirations. This interaction further strengthened the relationship between both institutions and provided a meaningful learning experience for all involved.
