Cleanliness Drive "SWACHHATA HI SEVA (SHS) 2024'' Campaign

The Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) Puducherry campus actively participated in the nationwide "Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2024" cleanliness campaign from September 17 to October 2, 2024. On the first two days of the drive, students and faculty members engaged in cleaning activities, focusing on the campus premises and nearby areas, promoting hygiene and environmental sustainability.

The final day of the campaign culminated in a collaborative event with EDLD and the Government of Puducherry—a 'Plog Run' held on October 2, 2024, starting at 10:15 AM from Kamban Kalaiarangam. Additionally, students participated in a mass cleanup at the Puducherry market and city center, contributing to a cleaner public environment.

The campaign concluded with a valedictory ceremony organized by the Puducherry government at Kamban Kalaiarangam, where RRU Puducherry’s Director, Mr. Arsh G, was honored by the Chief Minister of Puducherry for the university's significant efforts in the cleanliness drive. The event highlighted the importance of community involvement in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
