Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) Puducherry campus, in collaboration with the Government of Puducherry and EDLD, organized a 'Plog Run' under the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative. The event, held at Kamban Kalaiarangam in Puducherry at 10:15 am, was a call to action for cleanliness and environmental awareness.
Students and faculty members from RRU Puducherry actively participated in the event, which combined jogging with picking up litter in the surrounding areas. The 'Plog Run' emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment, aligning with the broader goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
The highlight of the event was the presence of the Honorable Chief Minister of Puducherry, who graced the occasion and appreciated the collective efforts of the participants. The Chief Minister also honored the Director of RRU Puducherry campus, acknowledging the university's commitment to contributing to societal welfare and environmental conservation through such impactful initiatives.
