Expert lecture on Forensic Medicine and Its Evidentiary Value in the Court of Law

                         The Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Puducherry Campus, organized an expert lecture on Forensic Medicine and Its Evidentiary Value in the Court of Law, featuring Dr. Mukesh R, Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. 

     The session provided an in-depth exploration of forensic medicine's critical role in legal proceedings, shedding light on the scientific methodologies employed in post-mortem examinations, injury analysis, and toxicological assessments. Dr. Mukesh elaborated on how forensic evidence, including autopsy reports, DNA analysis, and toxicological findings, can significantly influence judicial decisions by corroborating facts and aiding in crime reconstruction. He also emphasized the importance of medico-legal documentation and expert testimony in ensuring justice while highlighting landmark cases where forensic evidence played a decisive role.
