RRU Puducherry Students at National Seminar on 'Police in a Welfare State', Kerala

           Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Puducherry Campus students, actively participated in the Two-Day National Seminar on 'Police in a Welfare State', organized by the Kerala Police Association in collaboration with the Department of Sociology, University of Kerala, Trivandrum. The seminar served as a crucial platform for discussing contemporary policing challenges and reforms, attracting scholars, law enforcement officers, and academicians from across the country.

                    The seminar revolved around pressing issues in modern law enforcement, focusing on Policing in the Digital Age, Work-Life Balance in Policing, Participatory Policing, and Community Policing. These themes highlighted the evolving role of police forces in ensuring security while fostering public trust and well-being in society.

Sri Thomson Jose, IPS, City Police Commissioner, Trivandrum

P. Vijayan, IPS, Hon'ble Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence)

Academic Excellence: Paper Presentations by RRU Students and Faculty

            RRU Puducherry campus showcased its academic prowess as nine students presented their research papers on various policing issues. These presentations reflected their in-depth research, analytical skills and commitment to contributing to law enforcement studies. A total of 19 students participated in this conference.

in addition, Mr. Nethaji Subash, Assistant Professor, presented a thought-provoking paper on 'Artificial Intelligence in Policing: Global Trends and Applications.'
