Faculty Publication Highlight: Research on Criminalization of Migrants

             We are pleased to announce the publication of our book chapter titled "Criminalization of Migrants: An Exploratory Study on Cross-Border Migration in India" in the prestigious Handbook of Migration, International Relations and Security in Asia, part of the Handbook in Asian Studies Series by Springer. Authored by Nethaji Subash and Gabriela Michael, this chapter explores the intersection of migration and criminal justice in India, highlighting the socio-political dynamics, punitive state responses, and human rights implications of migrant criminalization. We are honored to contribute to this important academic discourse on migration and security in Asia.
