RRU Visit - PGDSCIM

As part of our academic curriculum, PGDSCIM Students attend a week-long residential training and academic exposure program at the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) main campus in Gujarat. 

The last day began with an engaging session by Mr. Ashwani Kaushik, Associate Director, on the History and Future of Private Security, covering topics from the Praetorian Guard to modern security trends. Students visited the School of IT, AI, and Cyber Security (SITAICS), where Mr. Dushyant Atram briefed us on the academic structure and showcased advanced labs supporting hands-on learning and innovation. At the School of Criminal Law and Military Law (SCLML), Mr. Shubham Srivastava introduced us to the curriculum and practical training tools like the moot court. Our next stop was the School of International Cooperation, Security, and Strategic Languages (SICSSL). Dr. Aparna Varma emphasized the role of multilingual skills in addressing global security challenges. The day concluded with a meeting with Dr. Dharmeshkumar D. Prajapati, Registrar (I/c), where we shared our key takeaways and reflected on the week’s enriching experiences.
