Guest Lecture on "Private Investigation: Techniques and Management"

 On 16th May 2025 (Friday), the RRU Puducherry Campus organized an engaging and insightful Guest Lecture titled "Private Investigation: Techniques and Management". The session was specially curated for students pursuing criminology, aiming to expose them to the practical dimensions and operational challenges of private investigative work.

We had the privilege of hosting Mr. Esakki, CEO of Garuda Intelligence, as the esteemed guest speaker. With his extensive field experience and leadership in private security and investigation services, Mr. Esakki delivered a dynamic lecture that combined real-world case studies with practical techniques used in the field of private investigation.

Key topics covered during the lecture included: Fundamentals of private investigation and its legal boundaries, Surveillance methods and tools, Case management and client handling, The role of private investigators in supporting law enforcement, Ethics and challenges in the profession

A total of 29 students from the Criminology program actively participated in the session, which was both informative and interactive. The lecture sparked enthusiastic questions and discussions, allowing students to deepen their understanding of the evolving role of private investigators in today’s security landscape.

This guest lecture not only broadened academic perspectives but also provided valuable industry insights, encouraging students to consider private investigation as a viable and impactful career path within the realm of criminal justice.
