On the occasion of National Unity Day on 31st October, the NSS Unit of Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus organized a spirited Unity March to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, fondly remembered as the Iron Man of India.
The march was held with the objective of strengthening the message of unity, integrity, and national integration among students. Echoing the vision of Sardar Patel, the event encouraged young minds to uphold the values that bind our nation together.
Students participated with great enthusiasm, reflecting a strong sense of patriotism and responsibility. Holding banners and raising slogans that celebrated “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,” the march fostered a sense of togetherness and collective harmony.
As part of the observance, students also took the Unity Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to national integrity, social harmony, and unity in diversity. The pledge served as a reminder of the essential role youth play in preserving the country’s cultural and democratic fabric.
The event not only paid tribute to a national leader who united India but also inspired students to contribute towards building a stronger, inclusive, and more united nation. The NSS Unit continues to instill values of service, social responsibility, and unity through such meaningful initiatives.
