The B.A. Criminology & Police Administration (BACPA) 3rd Year students of Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, took part in an exhilarating One-Day Adventure Training Program at Malaipattu Mountain, conducted in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Mountaineering Association. The program was a part of their academic course curriculum, aimed at promoting endurance, discipline, leadership, and teamwork through experiential outdoor training.
The session began with a small trekking, an meditation, physical fitness workout that prepared students for a series of adventurous and skill-based activities. Students were divided into three teams, each engaging in different training modules throughout the day, ensuring everyone gained hands-on experience in diverse adventure techniques.
The training featured exciting activities such as Commando Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Rock Climbing, Team Building Activities ,all conducted under the expert supervision of professional trainers. These activities helped students develop physical strength, mental alertness, and coordination essential qualities for individuals pursuing criminology and security studies.
In addition to the adventure sessions, a media interaction segment added enthusiasm and engagement to the day. The students displayed exceptional spirit, teamwork, and determination, reflecting the values that Rashtriya Raksha University strives to instill in its learners.
The program concluded with a feedback session and certificate distribution ceremony, where students shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.
Through this Adventure Training Program, students received hands-on training in Trekking, Rock Climbing, Knots Craft, Commando Climbing, Rappelling, and Team-Building activities. The program not only fulfilled an academic course requirement but also served as a transformative learning experience for students that fostered resilience, teamwork, and leadership in essential qualities for real-world challenges.
