RRU Puducherry Students shines at the 1st International Media and Policing Annual Conference on Trends

Students from Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus actively participated in the 1st International Conference on “Digital Justice: Crime, Media and Cyber Realities in the 21st Century”, organized by Nehru College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore on 11th and 12th December, 2025.

The conference provided a significant academic platform, bringing together scholars, researchers, academicians, and students to discuss contemporary challenges related to crime, digital media, cyber threats, and justice systems in the modern era. The event encouraged interdisciplinary discussions and knowledge sharing on emerging trends in cybercrime, digital governance, media influence, and technological advancements in justice delivery.

A total of 14 students from RRU participated in the conference, out of which 9 students actively presented their research papers on diverse and relevant themes related to digital crime, cyber awareness, media ethics, online victimization, and technological implications on justice systems. Their presentations demonstrated strong analytical skills, a research-oriented approach, and a profound understanding of contemporary cyber and criminological issues.

The conference offered students valuable exposure to academic discourse, expert insights, and scholarly interactions at both national and international levels. It also enhanced their confidence, presentation skills, and critical thinking abilities while encouraging academic collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Participation in such academic forums reinforces the university’s commitment to experiential learning and research excellence. The event proved to be an enriching experience for the students, strengthening their academic foundations and preparing them to engage effectively with emerging challenges in the fields of crime, media, and digital justice.
