Session on Risk Assessment and Career Transition by Mr. Suresh Kasirajan

The PG Diploma in Security and Corporate Intelligence Management Department at Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry, successfully organized an insightful online session titled “Session on Risk Assessment and Career Transition” on 22 May 2026. The session, delivered by Mr. Suresh Kasirajan, Manager (Projects) - Cybersecurity GRC, focused on equipping students with practical knowledge in risk assessment, business continuity, and career development in the corporate security sector.

A major highlight of the session was the discussion on residual risk and risk transfer.  The speaker also explained how organizations may transfer risks to third parties through outsourcing or contractual arrangements, while retaining overall responsibility for risk management. The speaker shared valuable insights into corporate culture, professional growth, and the importance of practical experience in building a successful career in security and corporate intelligence.
