Graduation Parade & Degree Awarding Ceremony at RRU Puducherry

Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, successfully organized its Graduation Parade & Degree Awarding Ceremony 2026 on 20 June 2026 at the Police Training School Ground, Puducherry. The event celebrated the academic achievements, leadership qualities, and service commitment of the graduating students. The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Arsh G, Campus Director (In-charge) followed by a well-coordinated graduation parade, showcasing precision, discipline, and training excellence of the students. 

The gathering was addressed by distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Manikandan, IAS, Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Kalaivanan, IPS, SSP (Law and Order) as the Guest of Honour. In his address, Mr. R. Kalaivanan, IPS, highly appreciated the parade and congratulated the graduating students for their excellence in character and discipline. He also addressed the students and suggested that the youngsters be more physically and emotionally fit, and since our habitat is in the cyber era.

Dr. Manikandan, IAS, shared his experience visiting Rashtriya Raksha University and highlighted the institution's significance. He highlighted how the Puducherry campus operates, offering tailored courses that support the local community, and particularly mentioned the recent course for the fisherman community, conducted in collaboration with the Tourism Department, which helped the community find employment. Finally, in his address, he congratulated the Institution on grooming students in Criminology and Police Science, not only providing them with employment but also instilling in them a sense of responsibility and patriotism, and helping them become responsible citizens.

During the Degree Awarding Ceremony, Degrees were conferred upon the graduating batch of 2024–2025, comprising 15 students of the PG Diploma in Security, Corporate and Intelligence Management and the PG Diploma in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. The event also featured a series of performances, including cultural presentations, yoga demonstrations, martial arts and self-defence, and commando drill, reflecting the holistic development imparted by the institution. 

The event concluded with a series of cultural and skill-based performances, including a welcome dance, yoga demonstration, SHIELD (Self Defence & Martial Arts) display, commando training demonstration, and group photo session. The event served as a testament to Rashtriya Raksha University’s commitment to nurturing future leaders in national security and policing, while fostering discipline, excellence, and service among its students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Nethaji Subhash, Assistant Professor, followed by the National Anthem, marking a memorable milestone in the graduates' academic journey.
