As part of Day 5 of the RAKSHARAMBH ’26 Orientation-cum-Induction Programme, held on 17 September 2026, Session III, titled “Wildlife Gallery and Mangrove Visit,” provided students with an opportunity to gain practical insights into wildlife diversity, mangrove ecosystems and environmental conservation. The session was led by Dr. Bubesh Gupta, Adjunct Faculty, Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), and Founder & Director of the Universal Eco Foundation.
During the session, Dr. Bubesh Gupta accompanied the students on an educational visit to the Wildlife Art Gallery, where he explained the different types of animals, their characteristics and various aspects of wildlife. The visit helped students broaden their understanding of wildlife diversity and appreciate the importance of understanding and protecting the natural environment.
Following the gallery visit, the students visited the Art and Craft Village and spent time near the mangrove forest. Dr. Bubesh Gupta explained the importance of mangrove forests, their role in maintaining ecological balance and the regions where mangroves are commonly found. He also introduced students to the characteristics of mangrove ecosystems and highlighted their significance in preserving natural habitats and protecting the environment.
The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with environmental observations. It enhanced their awareness of wildlife and mangrove ecosystems while emphasising the importance of biodiversity conservation and environmental protection. The session encouraged students to recognise the role of natural ecosystems in maintaining ecological balance and promoting environmental sustainability.
