New Journey Begins: Academic Session 2025-2026 Inaugural Program

Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Puducherry Campus, an Institution of National Importance Pioneering National Security and Police Education in India, proudly inaugrated the New Academic Session 2025–2026 on 11th August 2025 at the University. Attendees were introduced to the university’s vision and activities through the RRU Puducherry Campus videos.

The inaugural session was graced by eminent dignitaries, including:

             Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, Vice Chancellor, RRU

             Prof. (Dr.) Kalpesh Wadhwa, Pro Vice Chancellor, RRU

             Dr. Dharmesh Kumar Prajapati, Registrar, RRU

             Dr. Jasbirkaur Thadhani, University Dean, RRU

The inaugural ceremony was formally opened by Shri A. Namassivayam, Honorable Home Minister, Government of Puducherry, who lit the ceremonial lamp symbolizing the commencement of the academic journey. 

The Event was also graced by Hon. U.P. Abeywickrama, Attorney at Law and Member of Parliament, Republic of Sri Lanka and Mr. Ruwan John Uduwerage Perera, Director of Policing, Criminology & Justice, University of East London. The occassion was also graced by Dr. Bascarane PPS, SP Cyber/Wireless / WIM.

Distinguished speakers highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering a new generation of security professionals equipped with knowledge, ethics, and practical skills to meet contemporary challenges.
