RRU Puducherry Women's Throwball Team shines at State Level Tournament

 A moment of immense pride for Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, as our Women’s Throwball Team showcased exceptional performance at the State-Level Inter-Collegiate Throwball Women Tournament - 2025, held at Pondicherry University Community College, Lawspet, on 10th October 2025.

The event, “GenNxt – ROTA Sports,” was jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Pondicherry Marina (RCPM) and the Department of Physical Education & Yoga, Pondicherry University Community College. The tournament aimed to promote fitness, sportsmanship, and women’s participation in sports under the banner of SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-Being.

Our RRU Women’s Throwball Team displayed remarkable teamwork, confidence, and determination throughout the tournament, proudly securing Third Place among several participating colleges across the state. Their consistent efforts, coordination, and competitive spirit brought well-deserved recognition to the university and highlighted the essence of teamwork and perseverance.

As a gesture of appreciation, mementos were presented to all Physical Training Officers who accompanied and guided their students for the competition. 

Ms. Nidhya, Sports Training Officer from RRU Puducherry Campus, was also honoured with a memento by the Rotary Club of Pondicherry Marina for her contribution and support to the team.
