Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 Observed at RRU, Puducherry Campus

Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 on 31st October, embracing this year’s national theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” The initiative aimed to inspire a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability among students and faculty, reminding everyone that building a corruption-free India begins with personal responsibility and collective commitment.

To mark the observance, an Anti-Corruption Integrity Pledge was administered in the presence of Dr. BascaraneRetired Superintendent of Police, along with faculty members and students of RRU, Puducherry. The pledge encouraged participants to uphold ethical values, reject corruption in all forms, and act with honesty and fairness in both academic and professional life. It was a moment of unity where the RRU community reaffirmed its determination to stand against corruption and lead with integrity.

Corruption weakens progress, but integrity strengthens a nation’s foundation. The observance highlighted the importance of vigilance in everyday life and emphasized that the youth of India play a pivotal role in shaping a society rooted in trust, fairness, and moral responsibility.

As a university nurturing future leaders in security and governance, RRU Puducherry shows that vigilance isn’t a one-week observance, it is a lifelong duty. The event concluded with a collective message of hope and responsibility: Together, we choose integrity. Together, we pledge for a corruption-free tomorrow.
