From Lessons to Life – Teachers’ Day Celebration

RRU Puducherry Campus celebrated Teachers’ Day through a special institutional and cultural programme titled “From Lessons to Life – Teachers’ Day Celebration” on 4 September 2026 at the campus auditorium. The programme was organized by SCIM students, Batch 2026.

The celebration was organized to express gratitude and appreciation to teachers for their valuable guidance, support and contribution to the academic and personal development of students. The programme also highlighted the significant role of teachers in shaping students’ knowledge, values, confidence, discipline and future careers. It provided an opportunity for students, faculty members and staff to come together and strengthen their relationships through meaningful and enjoyable activities.

The programme was associated with Ms. Nina Oviya, TCRO-Criminology, Ms. Shilpa Aravindan, TCRO-Forensic Science, and Mr. Aswanth Sir, TCRO- Corporate Security. A total of 80 participants, including faculty and students, took part in the celebration.

The celebration began with a warm welcome and appreciation of teachers, followed by student-led presentations and interactive activities. Students expressed their gratitude towards their teachers through words, performances, and various activities that reflected the positive influence of teachers in their lives. The programme created a warm and engaging atmosphere where teachers and students could interact beyond the regular classroom setting.

The active participation of faculty members, staff and students made the celebration a meaningful institutional activity. The programme successfully created an atmosphere of gratitude, respect and togetherness, while encouraging students to recognize and value the contribution of their teachers. The event also promoted a positive and respectful environment within the university community.

The programme concluded as a memorable celebration that strengthened the bond between teachers and students at RRU Puducherry.
