Faculty Session on Procedural Law - 4 Days(BCPS)

A four-day expert-led guest lecture series on Procedural Law was successfully organized for the first-year students of the Bachelor of Criminology and Police Science (BCPS) program. The sessions were delivered by Mr. Yuvaraja, Assistant Professor of Law at Saraswathy Law College, Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu. With his strong academic background and practical insights, Mr. Yuvaraja provided in-depth understanding of key aspects of criminal procedural law, including the structure and stages of criminal proceedings, the powers and duties of police and magistrates, procedures related to arrest, bail, and remand, and a detailed discussion on the Indian Evidence Act. The lecture series, conducted under the guidance of the Campus Director, greatly enhanced the students’ conceptual clarity and engagement with the subject.
