On 25 February 2026, Students from Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Puducherry Campus, proudly participated in the Republic Day Tableau Celebration organized as part of the Republic Day festivities in Puducherry. The students' participation in this prestigious national event reflected their dedication, creativity, and commitment to upholding the university's values and the spirit of patriotism.
The students who participated in the tableau included Ms. Ashmitha (III Year) and Ms. Aditya, Ms. Soundarya, Ms. Aishwarya, and Ms. Pooja (I Year). Through their enthusiastic participation and coordinated performance, they effectively conveyed the tableau's theme and message, contributing to the success of the Republic Day celebrations.
The students' performance was highly praised by the Nodal Officer of the Republic Day Camp, who commended their dedication, discipline, and the quality of their presentation. As a mark of recognition and appreciation for their outstanding efforts, the participating students were awarded a cash prize of ₹36,000 each by the Nodal Officer of Puducherry.
Due to her ongoing
internship commitments, Ms. Ashmitha (III Year) was unable to attend the award distribution ceremony. Nevertheless, her contribution
to the tableau performance was significant and greatly valued.
This achievement stands as a remarkable milestone for the NCC and NSS students of Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, highlighting their active involvement in national events and their commitment to representing the institution with pride and excellence.
Furthermore, the Nodal
Officer conveyed that students from Rashtriya Raksha University will continue
to receive opportunities to participate in future national celebrations,
including Independence Day and Republic Day programmes. This recognition
reflects the growing reputation of RRU students in contributing to such
important public events.
