Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of NCC Cadets Ms. Siddhi Raj and Ms. Soundarya S., first-year students of B.A. Criminology and Police Science, who represented 1(P) Girls Independent Company NCC, Puducherry, in the State Level Shooting Competition held at the NCC Unit, Puducherry, on 27 and 28 July 2026.
The competition brought together talented NCC cadets from across the state, providing a platform to demonstrate precision, discipline, and marksmanship. The RRU cadets showcased exceptional shooting skills and determination, delivering an outstanding performance throughout the event.
Cadet Ms.Siddhi Raj secured the Gold Medal in the Junior Girls 50m Prone-Peep Sight event, while Cadet Ms. Soundarya S. won the Silver Medal in the Junior Girls 50m Prone-Open Sight event. Their remarkable achievements highlighted their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in shooting sports.
The outstanding performance of the NCC cadets reflects the strong training standards and disciplined environment fostered by the NCC. Their success has brought pride and recognition to Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, as well as 1(P) Girls Independent Company NCC, inspiring fellow students to pursue excellence in sports and leadership activities.
