Orientation Programme for Batch 2025-2026

The Orientation Programme for the Batch of 2025-26 was held on 9th September 2025 at the RRU Puducherry Campus Auditorium, marking a warm and inspiring welcome for the new students who have embarked on their academic journey at Rashtriya Raksha University. 

The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, starting with a Welcome Address by Mr. Arsh G, the Campus Director (I/c) of RRU Puducherry Campus, who extended a heartfelt greeting to the fresh batch and highlighted the university’s mission of developing security professionals and thought leaders for the future. A captivating video showcasing the RRU Puducherry campus life was streamed, giving students a glimpse into the vibrant academic environment, modern facilities, and unique learning opportunities awaiting them.

                                                         

The Inaugural Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Kalpesh Wandra, Pro Vice Chancellor, who emphasized the importance of discipline, learning, and social responsibility in shaping students into future leaders. This was followed by inspiring addresses from Dr. Dharmesh Kumar Prajapati , Registrar, Dr. Jasbir Kaur Thadhani ,University Dean, and Mr. Avinash Kharel ,Dean I/c, Campuses, each motivating the students to aim for excellence and contribute meaningfully to the fields of security and governance. 

The event was also graced by chief guest Lieutenant Commander Roopa Alagirisamya distinguished Naval Armament Inspection Officer, Indian Navy, addressed the students. Her motivational speech revolved around the values of duty, discipline, and service to the nation, igniting a sense of purpose and pride among the students.

One of the highlights of the event was a video glimpse of the Navika Sagar Parikrama II, showcasing a historic double-handed circumnavigation of the globe aboard INSV Tarini. The voyage, completed in May 2025, covered an incredible 25,400 nautical miles, spanning four continents and three oceans, including the treacherous Cape Horn and the remote Point Nemo. This inspiring story stood as a powerful example of perseverance, courage, and determination for the students.

                                                                 

         

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Abarna, Academic Coordinator, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty, and students for their participation. 

The orientation concluded with a motivational note encouraging students to take full advantage of the resources available at RRU Puducherry. The students were reminded of the importance of a balanced academic life that includes classroom learning, practical experience, and personal growth through extracurricular activities.

                                                          

This orientation set the tone for an exciting academic journey, ensuring that the students are well-prepared and aligned with the values of Rashtriya Raksha University.
