NSS Volunteers Participate in Puducherry Film Festival

The NSS volunteers of Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus participated in the Puducherry Film Festival held on 14 February 2026 at Kamarajar Manimandapam, Lawspet, following their participation in the Drug Awareness Rally.

The festival was organized to promote meaningful cinema, cultural appreciation, and social awareness among students and youth. The volunteers attended various film and documentary screenings conducted from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and actively took part in the discussions held during the programme.

The films screened focused on social issues, cultural values, and contemporary challenges faced by society. Through these screenings, students understood how cinema can be used as an effective medium for education, awareness, and social change.

The programme provided the volunteers with valuable exposure and encouraged them to reflect on important social realities. Their participation enhanced their cultural understanding and strengthened their commitment towards community service and social responsibility.
