"Teaching and Advocating Road Safety for a Safer Future"
On Teachers' Day 2024, RRU Puducherry, in collaboration with Puducherry Police Karmayogi officers, organized a road safety awareness rally. This initiative aimed to promote responsible road behavior and raise awareness about traffic safety within the Puducherry community. The rally served as a platform for educating the public on cautious driving, pedestrian safety, and the importance of following traffic rules.
Participants, including RRU students, faculty, and Puducherry Karmayogi Police officers, held public awareness sessions and distributed educational pamphlets at key locations throughout the city. The materials emphasized crucial aspects of road safety, such as helmet and seatbelt use, pedestrian rights, and the need for vigilance on the road.
